Human Rights, one-year master's programme

During the programme of study, students will be equipped with an extensive knowledge and understanding of what constitutes human rights, and how they are utilized and affected by our world. The legal, political and philosophical dimensions of HR are discussed from national and international perspectives, which implies that the subject of international relations is a requirement for a comprehensive understanding of HR.

After graduation students will be able to work with legal, political or ethical issues within the sphere of human rights, for example within public authorities, international organisations, or voluntary organisations where human rights are an integral part of the operation of the enterprise in question.

Admission requirements

Bachelor degree in Human Rights or equivalent+ the equivalent of English course B in Swedish secondary school. Information on application and eligibility is available at www.mah.se/education/non-exchange.
