International Relations, one-year master's programme

During the programme you will learn more about central research debates within the discipline. The programme also provides important knowledge of political theory, in order to deepen your understanding of the academic development of the discipline as well as complex current phenomena in world politics. You will have opportunities for independently acquiring deeper knowledge and developing your individual profile in a specific issue-area within international relations. The programme prepares you for further studies in International Relations.
After completing a degree in International Relations you will be able to work with a whole array of issues related to international relations, such as foreign policy, international aid, development, international cooperation, conflict prevention and human rights. Potential employers consist of e.g. the diplomatic service, local and national administrations, non-governmental organizations and international organizations.
